Turchin Center’s Lunch and Learn Series Continues Oct. 17 with Blue Ridge Conservancy, Gayle Lowry

Oct. 12, 2012. The Turchin Center’s Lunch and Learn Lecture Series continues Wednesday, Oct. 17, from noon to 1 p.m., with Walter Clark, Executive Director, and Rob McCorkindale, Land Protection Specialist of the Blue Ridge Conservancy, as they focus on forms of preservation through the arts and the current exhibition at the center titled Forever Protected: Paintings of the Blue Ridge Conservancy Holdings by Gayle Stott Lowry. Clark and McCorkindale will also give a behind the scenes look at the partnership between the BRC and the artist, Gayle Lowry. 

Lunch & Learn lectures are informative seminars that provide opportunities to deepen your knowledge about different aspects of the Turchin Center’s exhibition programming. Bring a bagged lunch, and the center will provide bottled water.
