Sept. 17, 2012. The Rotary Club of North Wilkesboro sponsors the event, which is held at the Worth Evan Tomlinson Rotary Park beside of West Park in North Wilkesboro. Gates open daily at 5 p.m. and at noon on Saturday.
This year’s fair will feature more than 25 carnival rides by Inners Shows as well as food and games. Tuesday’s ride wristbands are $15. Wednesday through Saturday wristbands are $17.
The fair will also have a bicycle give away, Buffalo Beal’s Animal Park, which features pony rides, camel rides and a petting zoo. Each day, Hubba Bubba the Clown will be doing stage shows as well as entertaining visitors strolling the fairgrounds. Buffalo Barfield’s unheard of style of music and comedy shows will be held each day.
The 4-H exhibits, coordinated by Wilkes Cooperative Extension Service, will be on hand in the Exhibit Hall.
North Wilkesboro Extreme Wrestling will hold matches each day of the fair. No extra admission cost will be required to attend the wrestling events. There will be a tractor driving contest and 4-H pet show on Tuesday and a livestock show on Friday.

Tuesday, Sept. 25, is student night with all students admitted free. Wednesday, Sept. 26, all senior citizens are admitted for $4.
