Sept. 13, 2012. Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. to be able to participate in the sixth annual Relay for Life Scarecrow 5K Run/Walk taking place on the Greenway Trail in Boone.
The registration fee is $15 with a deadline of Oct. 4. After Oct. 4, the fee is $20. The family rate is $40 with a deadline on Oct. 4; after the fourth, the cost is $45. Meeting the Oct. 4 deadline guarantees you a long sleeved t-shirt. After this date it will be on a first come first serve basis.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the overall first place male and female and to the master’s male and female. Awards will also be given to the top three male and female age group winners.
Refreshments will be served, and all participants will be eligible for door prizes. Have a great time while raising money for a wonderful cause.
