June 19, 2013. The first ever Annual Music Fest at Blue Bear Mountain is making its way to the High Country for the weekend of Aug 2 and 3. The Music Fest has put together a great musical lineup for a fun filled weekend of music in the scenic mountains of Watauga County featuring:

  • Four-time Grammy winner David Holt and Josh Goforth
  • The SteelDrivers
  • The Tennessee Mafia Hillbilly Jug Band
  • Tim Carter ‘Big Bang’ Tour with Barbra Lamb, Tim May, Adam Chaffin and Matt Flinner
  • Charly Horse
  • Melissa Reaves and The Willys
  • George Harper and the Awesome Bastards
  • Mel Jones and His Bag of Bones and more

There will be two stages for the live music to perform on at the  spacious 155 acre camping retreat. The stage is set on top of the mountain so the spectators and participants will be able to take in the breathtaking mountain views.  There will be great food available for purchase and craft vendors. Coolers are invited to the event as well.
