Sept. 19, 2012. The Children’s Playhouse is hitting a big birthday this year: 10 years. Hooray for double digits! The Children’s Playhouse will do something sugary and fun with kids on the official date–Nov. 5, 2012–but they plan to jump the gun with something a little swanky for grown-ups on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012. The event will feature delicious hors d’oeuvres from High Country restaurants, beer and wine, music and a live auction of unique goods and services from The Playhouse community.

The 10th Anniversary Grown-Ups Party is on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, from 6-9 p.m. at The Children’s Playhouse located at 400 Tracy Circle, Boone, and the Boone Unitarian Universalist Fellowship next door.

The purpose behind the grown-up fun is to honor all the wonderful people who got The Children’s Playhouse this far and to raise money to establish a Playhouse endowment which will benefit the amazing community space in perpetuity.

Tickets are $30 for an individual or $180 to sponsor a table of six. Due to space constraints, only 80 tickets will be sold. Interested in donating a good or service to the auction? Click here.
