The Annual Brews n’ Views Festival Features Music, Food, Beer and More July 19 at Beech Mountain Resort

by Madison V. Fisler

July 14, 2014. On Saturday, July 19, from 2-7 p.m., Beech Mountain Resort will host the highly anticipated Brews n’ Views festival. Admission to the day-long festival is free and fun for all ages.

This year’s event will be complete with live music, craft beer, a Hash Run, food vendors and much more.

The main event for the festival is the Beer Tasting which this year will include a diverse array of 20 craft breweries from all across the state, according to a press release.

With the newly-renovated Beech Mountain Brewing Company Taproom, the new 5,506′ Skybar and live music by The Packway Handle Band, Dr. Bacon and Rickshaw Roadshow, you are sure to enjoy your day.

Tasting tickets for the event are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate per person. Scenic lift rides throughout the day are included in the ticket price.

“Just to come to the festival, there is no charge so families and designated drivers can come for free,” said Talia Freeman, Director of Marketing for Beech Mountain Resort.

“One thing that is cool this year is that the brewers themselves will be at the festival. People who come will get to talk with a lot of the brewers that make the beer, and we have all of the great local breweries attending too.”
