Feb. 18, 2015. RayWeather.com called it. The snow is coming down right on time at about noon with the main roads covering quickly after the N.C. Department of Transportation had the highways just about perfect this morning.

At about 11:30 a.m., Watauga County Communications posted on its Twitter page: “Pretty good snow event now at Comm Center. Please slow down and increase following distance.”
