Contest Summary for Sororities
PHASE 1: Creativity and Activity – Between Oct. 29 and Nov. 12, sorority chapters will create content that shows their house’s JABSpirit: pictures, videos, songs, signs, costumes…whatever creative outlet they choose. They may use their creative content to drive their friends and classmates to their House Page, and ask them to “Join” their page.
PHASE 2: Finals Week – We will pick 10-15 chapters who had the most people “Join” their page, and who have demonstrated the most creativity. These houses will advance to the Finals Week, Nov. 13-19.
During Finals Week each Finalist House will have to submit a skit, via video, with a theme of our choosing. We will pick the grand prize winners based on creativity, entertainment value, and effort.
PHASE 3: The Showdown – All videos will be publicly displayed to raise awareness of their charities. The contest winners will be announced the week of Nov. 19.
The Josh Abbott Band is a hot Texas-based group that started their careers in Lubbock at Texas Tech University. They released their third, emotionally-charged album earlier this year titled Small Town Family Dream. With much success atop of several charts, they have landed on the iTunes Country Albums Chart at No.1 and No. 2 on the iTunes Genre Album Chart.
