July 31, 2012. Sharon Schwenk will present her artwork of oils “A Certain Slant of Light” during the month of August at Crossnore Fine Arts Gallery. Sharon was inspired after viewing art by impressionists at the National Gallery of Art. She grew up in a creative family of oil painters and began her studies in the studio of friend and neighbor Connie Winters, a prominent North Carolina artist. Sharon enjoys traveling to France and her artwork represents the French landscapes, structures and colors.
You are invited to meet Sharon and have refreshments at the gallery on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. during the Avery Tour de Art.
