Piano Recital Features 18th- and 19th-Century Compositions

Sept. 24, 2012. Pianist Rodney Reynerson will perform works by Mendelssohn, Bach, Chopin and Liszt during an Oct. 2 recital at Appalachian State University. The program begins at 8 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Rosen Concert Hall. Admission is free.

Reynerson will perform six pieces from Mendelssohn’s eight-volume “Song without Words” series.

He also will perform Bach’s “Toccata in C Minor, BWV 911,” three compositions by Claude Debussy and two pieces by Franz Liszt.
