June 13, 2012. Many are already enjoying the summer camps which began Friday, June 1.
The camps are being held by the Appalachian State University Office of Conference and Camp Services. There will be camps throughout the summer for all age groups and all fields of interest, both academic and athletics related.
According to Teri Reddick, program manager with the Office of Conference and Camp Services, some of the camps include: Wet and Wild Week, Animal Studies, Anatomy Camp, Best Book Week, Math Camp, Unusual Olympics Week, Camp Invention, Russian Camp and many others.
Or, if sports is your thing, there will be camps for baseball, basketball, soccer, field hockey, football, softball, track and field, wrestling and volleyball.
