No Lane Closures Today on U.S. 321 in Blowing Rock; ‘Current Weather Conditions’ Cited as Reason

Jan. 3, 2013. According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s “NCDOT_EastMTN” Twitter feed, there will be no lane closures along U.S. 321 in Blowing Rock today. Current weather conditions were cited in the update as the reason for there being no closures. 

According to Ray’s Weather Center, it is currently cloudy in Blowing Rock with a temperature of 30.6 degrees. Fog and snow flurries were said to be possible this morning. The high today is forecast to be 36 degrees and winds are expected to get rather gusty this evening, reaching as high as 40 mph during the overnight hours.
