July 13, 2012. Concerts at the Best Cellar and Music in the Valle have been cancelled for tonight due to weather. These are the only known live music casualties for today.
The Best Cellar has tentatively rescheduled for Saturday night, weather permitting. It’s between the weatherman and the boss over at Best Cellar. The High Country Press should have an update by tomorrow afternoon. If all goes well, Smokey Breeze, a crowd favorite will be playing, so be sure to come early to claim your spot on the lawn for a wonderful evening of music and fun.
The Newland Riverwalk Concert Series changed their location for tonight to the YMCA’s brand new, Hugh Chapman Center, on Hospital Drive in Linville. The Johnson Brothers will be playing. They provide a high-energy, family-oriented bluegrass show.
The MusicFest n’ Sugar Grove won’t be affected by the weather – they have tents. Click here for their lineup and schedule.
