Learn to Swim Program at Appalachian State University Recreation Center Nanatorium

June 24, 2013. Appalachian State University Recreation is getting ready for their American Red Cross Learn to Swim program.

imgres-1The program offers children of Boone and the surrounding community the opportunity to learn the basics of swimming or the opportunity to improve existing swimming skills in a safe environment.

All classes are taught by qualified and experienced instructors. Group lessons are offered for all skill levels, ages six months and up. Classes are small and children will receive individual attention when needed while still having fun with other children of similar age and ability. 

Register for Session II now:

  • Session II runs from July 8 through Aug. 1
  • Courses offered include: Infant/toddler swim, preschool swim, school age swim (shallow and deep water)
  • Classes are held at the Appalachian State University Student Recreation Center Natatorium
  • Class days and times very depending on the level of your swimmer
