June 22, 2012. The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Town of Boone Lunch & Learn at noon, on Friday, June 29, at Council Chambers on Blowing Rock Road. Residents of the Boone area are excited to see how the Town of Boone has initiated several projects to enhance the working and living attributes of our community.
Successful completion of these initiatives will maintain vital business services, make Boone more pedestrian-friendly, expand cultural activities for residents and guests and enhance the vibrancy of Downtown.
Members of the Town’s staff will share progress and plans on several of Boone’s ongoing projects:
Sidewalks and streets
Downtown Boone US Post Office renovation
The Appalachian Theatre renovation
Vision of the Daniel Boone Park [at Horn In The West]
