The festival is guaranteed to delight.  Blues and Bluegrass musicians from all over will come together to present the first ever Music Fest at Blue Bear Mountain Campground.  With acts like the George Harper and the Awesome Bastards and Danny Carter, how could any self respecting music lover pass this up?  The event is BYOB, but glass bottles are prohibited.  There will be camping and vendors to accommodate everyone, and everything from breakfast to barbecue and and ice cream will be available.

Festival founder and campground owner, Kevin Quick and his friends have been attempting to put on a festival for a decade.  When Tim Carter contacted him to schedule a slot on his Bang Bang Tour somewhere in the High Country, Quick knew he had his opportunity.  In three months, he organized and booked the festival using his 155 acre campground as the location.  What makes this festival different than others will be the scenic views and relaxed atmosphere that’s very middle of the road.

“We don’t want anything crazy, but we want people to feel comfortable enough to sit down and have a beer,” Quick said.
