Harvest House Hosts CD Release Party for Troubel Tonight, Proceeds Support Recent Hate Crime Victims

The Harvest House hosts a CD release party for Troubel, a collective of Boone-area musicians, on Saturday night, March 3. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and The New River Boys open the show. Admission is $5.

Troubel

The collective is made up of local cousins Ben and Tim Roberts and two couples; Adam and Anna Walton, and Everett and Caroline (soon to be) Hardin. With much success from their 2010 debut “The Mountains. The Broken.” and two tours under their belt in 2011, Troubel  releases its new EP “Journey of All.” The group brings fresh sounds to folk music blending the sounds of traditional folk and mountain music with the stories of today.

This event will also be in support of the two local Boone girls affected by recent hate crimes. Our hope is to financially and musically support them. That’s why 20 percent of the proceeds will be going towards helping them.
