March 9, 2012. The March 13 meeting of Green Drinks Boone will focus on the Watauga County Farmers’ Market and the Daniel Boone Park. With an increased interest on access to local food production and the expanded use of green space this event will include short presentations from folks associated with both the Farmers’ Market and the Daniel Boone Park. This will be an excellent way to learn more about Vision Plan Public Meeting that the Daniel Boone Park is hosting on March 19th. The goal of their planning project is to create a bold, but attainableconceptual vision plan that will preserve and recreate new opportunities for the Park and others like the Farmers’ Market. Join us for an interesting evening of socializing and discussion of one of our areas most unique assets.
The Tuesday evening event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 at Pepper’s Restaurant, located in the Shops at Shadowline in Boone.
