June 12, 2012. Throughout the month of June, CrossRoads Harley-Davidson has asked the public to dig deep and help with two very successful events focused on veterans and country. The 4th Annual Combat Veterans Ride and Event and the Chance Cleary Benefit, featuring Country Music Star Rockie Lynne. Both helped raise money for combat veterans and more specifically a local combat veteran still receiving treatment in Bethesda, MD.
“Now,” according to General Manager Mike Lipford, “it’s time for CrossRoads Harley-Davidson to say thank you to all that have supported our Veterans by hosting our 10th Annual Night of Fire.”
CrossRoads Harley-Davidson’s 10th Annual Night of Fire will be held on Saturday, June 30. The event will begin at 12 p.m. with a professional fireworks show blasting off at 9:30 p.m.
“The CrossRoads Harley-Davidson 10th Annual Night of Fire will be a day of fun and night of fireworks for all surrounding communities,” states Mike Lipford, GM. The free event will include fun for the whole family: inflatable slides, bounce house, dunking booth, DJ, hot sounds from The Konnection Band, vendors for the shopaholic, Authentic ‘Night of Fire’ T-shirts and more.
Part of the proceeds from the ‘Night of Fire’ T-shirts will go to support local non-profit, High Country First In Families – a program of Barium Springs Home for Children Rainbow Center Division that supports individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Traumatic Brain Injuries.
There will be in-store specials and giveaways all day that include: 3 Day-2 Night Stay at the Grand Atlantic Ocean Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC, Flat Screen TV, Wii, Xbox and Harley-Davidson Gift Cards. It will not cost anything to enter, but you must be present to win. There will be a 50/50 drawing and the Wilkesboro Harley Owners Group (www.wilkesborohog.com) will sell Chicken and Pork Bar-B-Que Plates.
Co-Sponsored by Carolina West Wireless in Wilkesboro (www.carolinawest.com); other sponsors include Applebee’s of Wilkesboro, Holiday Inn Express of Wilkesboro, Spevco Trailers, R.H.
