High Country Crime Stoppers and ASU Police Department seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:
On Thursday night, Oct. 22, 2015, at approximately 9 p.m., a Watauga Medics ambulance was taken from Kid Brewer Stadium on the campus of Appalachian State University. The ambulance was observed traveling south on NC 105 near Poplar Grove Road south. A short time later, officers located the ambulance abandoned at The Cottages of Boone.
A $1000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for this crime.
