This week at Watauga County Farmers’ Market you will be able to find certified organic heirloom tomato transplants – Cherokee purple, red and yellow brandywine, amazon chocolate, chocolate stripes and many others. The market will also have a beautiful red lettuce mix, braising mix (mustard, kale and chard), romaine lettuce and onions from Zydeco Moon Organic Farm.

Baby carrots, limited fava beans, lupine and delphinium stems. There will be a great selection of heirloom tomato plants for $2 apiece as well as herb and perennial 4-packs from Goldenrod Gardens.
“Pesticide free” green garlic, spring onions, spinach, greens, radishes and lettuce. Free range duck and heritage chickens from Moretz Mountain Orchard.
A good selection of jams, jellies and butters, including Possum Grape Jelly from Granny’s Goodies.
Fresh bagels, sourdough whole wheat sticky buns, Swedish Almond-Cinnamon rolls (kanelbullar), sourdough croissants and pain au chocolat. Bakers Cranberry Granola and Savory Chop Blocks as well.
