On Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015, at around 7:30 a.m., the Boone Police Department received a call of an unattended death at a residence located at 1340 West King Street.
Boone Police Department Investigators responded to the scene and initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances of the death.
The decedent, Rocco Anthony Robert Surace, 28 years-of-age, was transferred to the custody of the medical examiner for an autopsy and toxicological testing. The cause of death remains undetermined pending results of the autopsy and testing.
There are no indications that the death is suspicious.
