Feb. 9, 2012. LENOIR — Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute’s student Physical Therapist Assistant Club is sponsoring the “Bluegrass Attack: Helping to Eliminate Veteran Homelessness” fundraiser for the Veteran Transitional Advocacy Board and CCC&TI PTA Scholarships.
The event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir featuring the 2010 IBMA Emerging Artist nominee and 2011 IBMA Award winner for Song of the Year, Balsam Range from Hendersonville, N.C.
The Troubadours from McDowell County will open the Bluegrass Attack. The artists are all either graduates or future graduates of the East Tennessee State University Bluegrass Music Program.
Ticket prices for adults are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Student tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center box office or online at www.broyhillcenter.com.
