Also taking place on Nov. 10, the Appalachian State Mountaineers football team will be squaring off against Furman in the final home game of the regular season. It will be the only home game of the Mountaineers final three games of the season.

Last Saturday, ASU jumped out to a commanding 38-13 lead and cruised to a 38-27 win over archrival Western Carolina on at E.J. Whitmire Stadium.

ASU currently has a 6-3 record, 4-2 SoCon, and with the loss to Wofford on Oct. 20 their playoff hopes took a hit. For that matter, their chances of having a home playoff game basically flew out the window.

This coming Saturday, Nov. 3, the Mountaineers will be in Statesboro, Ga. to take on conference-leading Georgia Southern in what may be ASU’s toughest test yet.
