Four incumbent Judges for the 24th Judicial District - Greg Horn, Hal Harrison, Becca Eggers-Gryder and Ted McEntire - were sworn in at the Avery County Courthouse on January 1, 2017.

Four incumbent judges for the 24th Judicial District – Greg Horn, Hal Harrison, Becca Eggers-Gryder and Ted McEntire – were sworn in at the Avery County Courthouse in Newland on Jan. 1, 2017. 

The 24th Judicial District is comprised of Avery, Madison, Mitchell Watauga and  Yancey counties.

The Honorable Ted McEntire from Mitchell County was sworn in for his third term as Chief District Court Judge.
