Calling All Nonprofits: Women’s Fund of the Blue Ridge Calls for Grant Letters of Inquiry

Women’s Fund of the Blue Ridge (WFBR) is soliciting ideas to improve the lives of women in the High Country.

Nonprofit groups that wish to apply for a grant from the Women’s Fund must send a Letter of inquiry (LOI). The Women’s Fund will accept LOIs through July 1st. The Women’s Fund is requesting LOIs from groups who have not previously received a grant from WFBR. Any organization that has received a grant from the Women’s Fund in the past need not submit a letter, but may apply for a grant by August 1.

The Women’s Fund gives grants exclusively to programs that serve women and girls in the High Country. Agencies that serve both genders but have programs within their organization that serve only females may apply for the women-only programs. If invited to apply for a grant, applications will be due August 1st, and organizations may apply for up to $10,000.

LOIs should be one to two pages in length, and the organization submitting an inquiry must be a 501(C)(3) non-profit, or have a non-profit fiscal sponsor. Letters should include the organization’s mission and a description of the specific program for which the organization is applying.

LOIs may be submitted through email to info@womensfundoftheblueridge.org, or mailed to WFBR, P.O. Box 1838, Boone, NC 28607. LOIs must be received by July 1.
