Nothing could be finer than to be in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains – With that thought, I would like to make an official toast to all of our Market friends from a poem by Leonora Martin and Mary Burke Kerr. It is the first verse of the official toast of the state of North Carolina.
Here’s to the land of the long leaf pine,
The summer land where the sun doth shine,
Where the weak grow strong and the strong grow great,
Here’s to “Down Home,” the Old North State!

Saturday will be another beautiful fall weather day at the Market!!! It’s an App State home football gameSaturday so do what I do and come early and hang-out until after kick-off!
