Weekly Crime Reports: Activity and Arrests in Boone and Watauga County, Sept. 18-26

Sept. 19

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 141 JH McLean Road In Banner Elk.

Sept. 20

INCIDENT: Burglary and larceny were reported at 139 Yakima Ridge in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny of auto parts and accessories was reported at 4600 Mountain Dale Road in Vilas.

INCIDENT: Possession of CS on prison/jail premises was reported at Watauga County Jail.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 105 Sable Drive Apt. 2 in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny of medication was reported at 311 Laurel Fork Road Apt. 1 in Vilas.

INCIDENT: Assault on a female and communicating threats were reported at 1045 Laurel Fork Road in Vilas.

ARREST: A male suspect, 34, of 1048 Laurel Fork Road in Vilas, was charged with assault on a female and communicating threats. Trial date: Oct. 20.

ARREST: A male suspect, 66, of 216 Forester Ave. in North Wilkesboro, was charged with felony parole and probation violations. Secured bond: $50k. Trial date: Oct. 20.

ARREST: A male suspect, 40, of 92 Elk Lane in Banner Elk, was charged with felony possession of CS on prison/jail premises and misdemeanor FTA reckless driving to endanger. Secured bond: $10k. Trial date: Oct. 20.

ARREST: A male suspect, 20, of 234 Camp Rock Road in Boone, was charged with violation of court order. Trial date: Oct. 20.

Sept. 22

INCIDENT: Fraud was reported at 146 Lake Park Drive in Boone.

ARREST: A female suspect, 22, of 1473 Swift Hollow Road in Mountain City, was charged with felony forgery of endorsement, uttering forged endorsement and financial card fraud. Secured bond: $7.5k. Trial date: Oct. 20.

Sept. 23

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 300 Davis Ridge in Banner Elk.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 1661 Valle Cay Drive in Vilas.

INCIDENT: Fraud was reported at 585 Will Isaacs Road in Zionville.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 294 Vail Drive in Blowing Rock.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 8464 U.S. Highway 321 N Unit B in Sugar Grove.

ARREST: A male suspect, 20, of 272 Horse Shoe Ridge Road in Deep Gap, was charged with injury to personal property. Trial date: Nov. 4.

ARREST: A male suspect, 25, of 4726 Elk Creek Road in Deep Gap, was charged with worthless checks. Secured bond: $1k. Trial date: Nov. 18.

Sept. 24

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 610 Fallview Lane in Boone.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 2166 George Hayes Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 7826 N.C. Highway 105 S in Boone.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 192 Hampton Trailer Court in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 64, of 338 Brook Hollow Road in Boone, was charged with FTA probation violation and FTA con MTBV/UN-WN Off-Prem Permit. Secured bond: $4k. Trial date: Oct. 26.

Sept. 25

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 178 Woodring Circle in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 926 New River Hills in Boone.

INCIDENT: Noncriminal detainment (involuntary com) was reported at 2894 Old U.S. Highway 421 S in Boone.

INCIDENT: Possession of drug paraphernalia was reported at 225 Tater Hill Estates Drive Apt. 10 in Boone.

Sept. 26

INCIDENT: Fraud was reported at 2705 Old U.S. Highway 421 E in Boone.

INCIDENT: Harassment was reported at 739 Bamboo Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: DVPO violation was reported at 341 Hodges Road in Deep Gap.

INCIDENT: Simple physical assault was reported at 311 Laurel Fork Road Apt. 2 in Vilas.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 183 Pheasant Walk Way in Vilas.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 493 Rainbow Mountain Road in Boone.

ARREST: A female suspect, 66, of 311 Laurel Fork Road #3 in Boone, was charged with aggravated assault. Trial date: Oct. 20.

Sept. 19

INCIDENT: Shoplifting was reported at Rock and Roll Emporium, 641 W King St.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 300 Go Pioneers Drive.

INCIDENT: Simple physical assault was reported at 574 Old E King St. #204.

INCIDENT: Obtain property by false pretense was reported at 170 Spruce St.

ARREST: A female suspect, 56, of 182 Cane Road in Boone, was charged with uttering a forged endorsement and forgery of instrument. Secured bond: $3k. Trial d ate: Oct. 20.

ARREST: A male suspect, 40, of 3784 E Roan Court in Lake Park, was charged with possessing/concealing – tax paid liquor, drug violations, fictitious registration plate, DWLR and DWI. Secured bond: $1.5k. Trial date: Oct. 18.

ARREST: A female suspect, 31, of 9830 U.S. Highway 421 S Apt. 2 in Trade, was charged with failure to appear on charges of DWLR. Secured bond: $1k. Trial date: Oct. 18.

ARREST: A male suspect, 22, of 1335 12th Drive NE in Hickory, was charged with warrant – paraphernalia and warrant – possession of heroin. Secured bond: $1k. Trial date: Oct. 18.

Sept. 20

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 838 State Farm Road Suite 1.

INCIDENT: Fraud was reported at Food Lion, 350 Watauga Village Drive.

INCIDENT: Simple nonphysical assault and simple physical assault were reported at 188 Herring Loop #201.

ARREST: A male suspect, 30, of 9711 Rainsong Court in Charlotte, was charged with DWI, speeding and careless and reckless. Trial date: Oct. 18.

Sept. 21

INCIDENT: Larceny from motor vehicle was reported at 516 W King St.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported on West King Street.

ARREST: A female suspect, 58, of 300 Bear Track Lane in Vilas, was charged with larceny and fraud. Secured bond: $10k. Trial date: Oct. 18.

ARREST: A male suspect, 51, of 269 Creek Ridge Road in Sugar Grove, was charged with resisting public officer and communicating threats.

ARREST: A male suspect, 20, of 421 Walnut St. in Statesville, was charged with possession of marijuana up to ½ oz and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Secured bond: $500. Trial date: Oct. 20.

Sept. 22

INCIDENT: Criminal damage to property was reported at 211 Milton Brown Heirs Road.

ARREST: A female suspect, 22 of 1473 Swift Hollow Road in Mountain City, Tennessee, was charged with credit card/ATM fraud, forgery and counterfeiting. Secured bond: $7.5k. Trial date: Oct. 20.

ARREST: A male suspect, 23, of 162 Georgia Ave. in Boone, was charged with left of center, exceeding posted speed limit, NOL, reckless driving and hit and run. Secured bond: $500. Trial date: Nov. 22.

ARREST: A female suspect, 20, of 235 Parkway Village Drive in Boone, was charged with larceny. Secured bond: $500. Trial date: Nov. 22.

ARREST: A female suspect, 18, of 819 N.C. Highway 194 N in Boone, was charged with shoplifting. Secured bond: $500. Trial date: Nov. 22.

Sept. 23

INCIDENT: Damage to real property was reported at 139 Bear Trail.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at Fieldstream Drive and Jefferson Drive.

INCIDENT: Simple physical assault was reported on the 700 block of West King Street.

INCIDENT: Motor vehicle theft was reported at 135 Innovation Drive.

ARREST: A male suspect, 18, of 5910 Quarters Edge Drive in Liberty, was charged with assault on a female. Trial date: Oct. 20.

ARREST: A male suspect, 17, of 134 River Bend Road in Sugar Grove, was charged with failure to appear for weapons on educ prop. Secured bond: $1k. Trial date: Nov. 4.

Sept. 24

INCIDENT: Larceny from motor vehicle was reported at 335 Old Bristol Road.

INCIDENT: Larceny – purse snatching was reported at 1864 Old U.S. Highway 421 S.

INCIDENT: Larceny by employee was reported at Papa John’s Store #533, 521 N.C. Highway 105 Extension.

ARREST: A male suspect, 44, of 338 Brook Hollow Road in Boone, was charged with larceny by employee. Secured bond: $10k. Trial date: Oct. 20.

ARREST: A male suspect, 21, of 188 Herring Loop #201 in Boone, was charged with cyberstalking. Trial date: Nov. 4.

Sept. 25

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at Boone Mall, 1180 Blowing Rock Road.

INCIDENT: Larceny of medication was reported at 191 Summer Drive Lot #2.

ARREST: A male suspect, 23, of 1701 Pendleton Drive in Raleigh, was charged with assault on a female. Trial date: Oct. 20.
