Weekly Crime Reports: Activity and Arrests in Boone and Watauga County, July 10 – 16

July 10
INCIDENT: Larceny – auto parts & accessories was reported at 128 Crossing Way in Boone.INCIDENT: Possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule III and possession of schedule IV were reported at 251 Industrial Park Dr. in Boone.ARREST: A male suspect, 48, of 191 Cecil Miller Rd., Apt 203, in Boone, was charged with communicating threats. Trial date: Aug. 18.ARREST: A female suspect, 25, of 6181 US Highway 421 N. in Vilas, was charged with simple possession of schedule III, simple possession of schedule IV and possession of methamphetamine. Secured bond: $3,000. Trial date: Aug. 8.

July 11
ARREST: A female suspect, 44, of 165 Robin Ln., Apt. 308, in Boone, was charged with failure to appear. Secured bond: $10,000. Trial date: Aug. 10.

July 12
INCIDENT: Larceny – all other larceny was reported at 200 Winkler’s Meadow in Boone.

INCIDENT: Misdemeanor larceny was reported at 168 Hardin St. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Simple assault was reported at 200 Watauga Village Dr. in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 30, of 131 Winklers Creek Rd. in Boone, was charged with failure to appear. Secured bond: $50,000. Trial date: Aug. 10.

July 13
INCIDENT: Simple physical assault was reported at 1180 Blowing Rock Rd. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny – shoplifting and tampering with anti-theft device was reported at 641 W. King St. in Boone.

July 14
INCIDENT: Criminal damage to property (vandalism) was reported at 277 Howard St. in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 35, of Boone, was charged with trespass. Secured bond: $500. Trial date: Aug. 18.

ARREST: A male suspect, 65, of 338 Brook Hollow Rd. in Boone was charged with larceny and trespassing. Secured bond: $1,000. Trial date: Aug. 18.

ARREST: A male suspect, 53, of 375 W. King St. in Boone, was charged with disorderly conduct, drunk and disruptive and violation of town ordinance (open container). Secured bond: $2,000. Trial date: Aug. 18.

ARREST: A male suspect, 23, of 8605 Sanibel Dr. in Charlotte, was charged with no right turn and no operator’s license. Trial date: Aug. 18.

ARREST: A male suspect, 26, of 226 NW Wilson St., Apt. D36, in Lenoir, was charged with resisting public officer and intoxicated and disruptive behavior. Secured bond: $1,000. Trial date: Aug. 18.

July 15
INCIDENT: Driving after consuming – provisional, flee to elude, hit and run, reckless driving and speed 90 mph in a 20 mph zone were reported at 320 Watauga Village Dr. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Possessing stolen property was reported at 168 Stoneybrook Ct., Apt D1, in Boone.

INCIDENT: Defrauding an innkeeper was reported at 168 Boone Heights Dr. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Criminal damage to property (vandalism) was reported at 1612 US Highway 421 N. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny – all other larceny was reported at 200 Watauga Village Dr. in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 17, of 233 Randolph Dr. in Boone, was charged with hit and run, reckless driving, speeding 90 in 25, driving after consuming less than 21 – provisional and fleeing to elude. Secured bond: $10,000. Trial date: Aug. 18.

ARREST: A male suspect, 31, of 338 Brook Hollow Rd. in Boone, was charged with equipment/paraphernalia – possessing/concealing and failure to appear. Secured bond: $1,500. Trial date: Aug. 18.

July 16
INCIDENT: Criminal damage to property (vandalism) was reported at 2693 Highway 105 in Boone.

INCIDENT: Criminal damage to property (vandalism) was reported at 219 Meadow Hill Dr. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Burglary – forcible entry and larceny – all other larceny were reported at 1778 Blowing Rock Rd. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Breaking or entering a building was reported at 820 State Farm Rd. in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 26, of 338 Brook Hollow Rd. in Boone, was charged with parole and probation violations and larceny – all other larceny. Secured bond: $20,000. Trial date: Aug. 18.

ARREST: A male suspect, 25, of 626 Copeland St. in Pittsburgh, was charged with NOL and driving while impaired. Secured bond: $1,500. Trial date: Aug. 18.

ARREST: A male suspect, 40, of 338 Brook Hollow Rd. in Boone, was charged with trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and larceny. Secured bond: $1,000. Trial date: Aug. 18.
