Feb. 27
ARREST: A male suspect, 39, of 192 David Mclain Rd. in Boone, was charged with felony PWIMSD SCH II. Secured bond: $15, 000. Trial date: Mar. 30.ARREST: A male suspect, 30, of 338 Brookhollow Rd. in Boone, was charged with contempt of court, perjury, court violations. Secured bond: $2,500. Trial date: Mar. 22.

ARREST: A male suspect, 21, of 246 Triumph Ln. in Boone, was charged with felony PWIMSD SCH. V I CS and felony maint veh/dwell/place CS. Trial date: Mar. 1.

Feb. 28
INCIDENT: DV Protective Order Violation was reported at 184 Hodges Gap Rd. in Boone.

INCIDENT: All other fraud was reported at 1779 NC Highway 88 in Zionville.

INCIDENT: Calls for service was reported at 271 Blue Meadow Dr. in Deep Gap.

ARREST: A male suspect, 36, of 9189 NC Highway 105 S., Apt. 20, in Banner Elk, was charged with failure to appear child support. Other bond: $1,000. Trial date: Mar. 15.

Arrest: A male suspect, 25, of 2634 Dry Ponds Rd. in Granite Falls, was charged with all other offenses. Secured bond: $1,500. Trial date: Apr. 3.

ARREST: A male suspect, 39, of 1317 Chestnutt Grove Rd. in Boone, was charged with assault on a female. No bond. Trial date: Mar. 30.

ARREST: A female suspect, 35, of 295 Rush Branch Rd. in Sugar Grove, was charged with larceny – shoplifting. Trial date: Mar. 23.

INCIDENT: Possession of firearm by felon and misdemeanor flee and elude were reported at 1055 Fall View Ln. in Boone.

INCIDENT: All other larceny was reported at 473 Kenneth B. Brown Rd. in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 56, of 176 Tater Hill in Boone, was charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor larceny. Secured bond: $20,000. Trial date: Mar. 30.

INCIDENT: Fraud – obtaining money/property by false pretense was reported at 295 Jenwil Dr. in Deep Gap.

INCIDENT: Fraud – worthless checks was reported at 1029 Rainbow Tr. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Harassment was reported at 688 Upper Crab Orchard Rd. in Banner Elk.

INCIDENT: Calls for service was reported at 199 Red Fox Rd. in Blowing Rock.

ARREST: A male suspect, 47, of 188 Cranberry Creek Ln. in Zionville, was charged with communicating threats and resisting public officer. Secured bond: $3,500. Trial date: Apr. 4.

Mar. 4
INCIDENT: Drug violations – equipment and paraphernalia was reported at 1895 Howard’s Creek Rd. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Aggravated assault was reported at 307 Sunnybrook Ln. in Sugar Grove.

ARREST: A male suspect, 24, of Boone, was charged with felony second degree murder, felony neg child abuse – serious bodily injury and felony sex offender use social website. Secured bond: $1,000,000. Trial date: Apr. 6.

ARREST: A male suspect, 43, of 1238 Baldwin Gap Rd. in Zionville, was charged with failure to pay child support. Other bond: $1,648. Trial date: Mar. 27.

Mar. 5
INCIDENT: Drug violations – equipment/paraphernalia and all other drug violations were reported at 100 New Market Blvd. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Fraud – credit card/automated teller machine was reported at Walmart in Boone.

INCIDENT: Breaking or entering and harassment were reported at 234 Isenhour Rd. in Zionville.

ARREST: A male suspect, 34, of 2683 Little Laurel Rd. in Boone, was charged with DWI – alcohol and/or drugs. Trial date: Apr. 21.

ARREST: A male suspect, 29, of 275 Green Knob Mountain Rd., Unit 2, in Boone, was charged with DWI – alcohol and/or drugs. Trial date: Mar. 30.

Mar. 6
INCIDENT: Unattended death was reported at 476 Locust Ln. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Criminal damage to property (vandalism) was reported at 190 Bettys Cir. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Breaking or entering and felony larceny were reported at 1247 Old 421 S. in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny by an employee was reported at 201 N. Westside Dr. Ste. B in Vilas.

ARREST: A male suspect, 22, of 650 Brown Hollow Rd. in Creston, was charged with felony traffick in methamphetamine, felony conspire to traffick methamphetamine and FTA/Poss. Of meth/poss. of paraphernalia. Secured bond: $76,000. Trial date: Apr. 6.

INCIDENT: Fraud – obtaining money/property by false pretense was reported at 1470 Blowing Rock Rd. in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 25, of 1354 Hopewell Church Rd. in Boone, was charged with escape from custody or resist arrest, aggravated assault of an officer and larceny – shoplifting. Secured bond: $1,500. Trial date: Mar. 30.

ARREST: A male suspect, 32, of 573 Preacher Blackburn Rd. in Todd, was charged wit no insurance, no registration and fictitious registration plate. Secured bond: $1,000. Trial date: Mar. 30.

ARREST: A male suspect, 20, of 207 Muirfield Ln. in Jefferson, was charged with open container, possess drug paraphernalia, possess marijuana, provisional licensee and driving while impaired. Secured bond: $500. Trial date: Mar. 30.
