Weekly Crime Reports: Activity and Arrests Watauga County, Nov. 16-23

The following information is provided by local law enforcement agencies.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Nov. 16

INCIDENT: Breaking and entering, larceny and vandalism were reported at 338 Woodbriar Lane in Sugar Grove.

INCIDENT: DWLR and unlawful acts/penalties/enforcements were reported at 2500 Sampson Road in Boone.

Nov. 17

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 4481 N.C. Highway 105 S in Boone.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 2043 Browns Chapel Road in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 19, of 249 Camp Rock Road in Boone, was charged with felony possession of stolen goods/property and misdemeanor OFA/FTA. He was held under a $15,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 10.

Nov. 18

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 669 Tater Hill Road in Zionville.

INCIDENT: Assault on a female was reported at 626 New River Hills in Boone.

INCIDENT: Drug violations were reported on Old U.S. Highway 421 N near North Fork Road in Zionville.

ARREST: A male suspect, 29, of 2006 U.S. Highway 421 N. Apt. 6 in Boone, was charged with felony parole and probation violation and misdemeanor contempt of court/perjury/court violations. He was held under a $25,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 14.

Nov. 19

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 150 Houston Harmon Road in Sugar Grove.

ARREST: A female suspect, 41, of 626 New River Hills in Boone, was charged with communicating threats and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.

ARREST: A male suspect, 18, of 2641 Hardin Road in Boone, was charged with contempt of court/perjury/court violations. He was held under a $750 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 7.

ARREST: A male suspect, 45, of 1801 Big Dry Run Road in Mountain City, was charged with felony possessing/distributing meth precursor, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiracy to possess precursor chemicals. He was held under $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.

ARREST: A female suspect, 21, of 8958 N.C. Highway 105 S in Boone, was charged with felony maintain veh/dwell/place for CS and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 1.

Nov. 20

INCIDENT: Communicating threats and traffic violations were reported at Brook Hollow road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 1801 Joe Shoemaker road in Vilas.

INCIDENT: Fraud was reported at 127 Carlin Court in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 20, of 326 Howard St. in Boone, was charged with injury to personal property and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.

ARREST: A female suspect, 37, of 5039 U.S. Highway 421 N Apt. 2 in Vilas, was charged with FTA. She was held under a $100 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 29.

ARREST: A male suspect, 28, of 377 Harbin Road in Zionville, was charged with felony aid & abet providing drugs to inmate. He was held under a $10,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.

ARREST: A male suspect, 71, of 1538 Beaver Dam Road in Vilas, was charged with felony manufacture methamphetamine, poss/distribute meth precursor, possess methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiracy to possess precursor chemicals. He was held under a $100,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.

Nov. 21

INCIDENT: Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and assault were reported at 244 Devils Den Road in Banner Elk.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 978 Greystone Drive in Boone.

INCIDENT: Fraud was reported at 1061 Seven Oaks Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Breaking and entering and injury to real property were reported at 860 Rocky Creek Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Felony breaking and entering and larceny were reported at 104 Canter Lane in Zionville.

INCIDENT: Vandalism was reported at 1388 Old Bristol Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at Mountain Care Facilities, 183 Graggville Road.

ARREST: A male suspect, 60, of 626 New River Hills in Boone, was charged with assault on a female and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 18.

Nov. 22

INCIDENT: Trespassing was reported at 478 Deck Hill Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Simple assault was reported at 244 Devils Den Road in Banner Elk.

INCIDENT: Damage to property was reported at 1423 Lonnie Carlton Road in Deep Gap.

Nov. 23

INCIDENT: Stalking was reported on the campus of Caldwell Community College in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 459 Grandfather Road Unit 1 in Banner Elk.

INCIDENT: Assault on a female was reported at 144 Makers Lane Unit 2 in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 37, of 4938 Meat Camp Road in Todd, was charged with OFA failure to pay child support. He was held under a $253 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 30.

ARREST: A male suspect, 43, of 257 SPI Road in Deep Gap, was charged with assault on a female and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.
