Weekly Crime Reports: Activity and Arrests in Boone and Watauga County, Oct. 14 – 26

The following were provided by the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office.

Oct. 14

ARREST: A male suspect, 17, of 454 Buckshot Circle in Boone, was charged with OFA/FTA possession of malt beverage > 21. He was held under a $500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7.

Oct. 15

ARREST: A male suspect, 21, of 1469 West King St. Apt. 201 in Boone, was charged with OFA/FTA misdemeanor probation violation. He was held under a $1,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 13.

Oct. 17

ARREST: A female suspect, 56, of 238 Rhododendron Drive in Blowing Rock, was charged with felony sex offenses and misdemeanor breaking and entering.

Oct. 18

INCIDENT: Resist/delay/obstruct was reported at 220 Winklers Creek Road in Boone.

ARREST: A female suspect, 28, of 9842 South Maryland Ave. in Chicago, Illinois, was charged with parole and probation violations. She was held under a $5,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 2.

ARREST: A female suspect, 21, of 103 Wendhurst Court in Apex, was charged with escape from custody or resisting arrest. She was held under a $750 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.

Oct. 19

ARREST: A male suspect, 31, of 128 Kerley Drive in Boone, was charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods. He was held under a $25,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.

Oct. 20

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 627 Dogwood Knoll in Boone.

INCIDENT: Attempted breaking and entering was reported at 288 Bella Vista Drive in Boone.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 1635 Junaluska Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Simple physical assault was reported at 574 Brookshire Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Injury to real property and second degree trespassing were reported on the 400 block of Southridge Road in Banner Elk.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 1388 Old Bristol Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny of a firearm was reported at 1003 George Wilson Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at the Watauga County Public Library.

ARREST: A male suspect, 22, of 231 Smith Henson Road in Boone, was charged with felony indecent liberties with a child and two counts of felony statutory rape. He was held under a $250,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.

ARREST: A male suspect, 18, of 1802 Silverstone Road in Vilas, was charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen property and misdemeanor larceny. He was held under a $25,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25

Oct. 21

INCIDENT: Vandalism was reported at 100 Watauga Valle Trail in Sugar Grove.

INCIDENT: Vandalism was reported at 179 Appaloosa Trail in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny and fraud were reported at 2128 Georges Gap Road in Vilas.

INCIDENT: Fraud was reported 1526 Hopewell Church Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Simple physical assault was reported at 686 Will Perry Road in Vilas.

Oct. 22

INCIDENT: DWI was reported at 500 Old Turnpike Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 2979 Russ Cornett Road in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 37, of 3011 Drewsky Lane Apt. 109 in Fort Mill, South Carolina, was charged with DWI and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.

Oct. 23

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 197 Cherry Blossom Drive in Boone.

INCIDENT: Fraud was reported at 163 Rocking Horse Lane in Blowing Rock.

INCIDENT: Drug violations were reported at the Watauga County Jail.

INCIDENT: Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at 275 Hensels Lane in Boone.

INCIDENT: Simple physical assault was reported at 211 SPI Road in Deep Gap.

INCIDENT: Vandalism was reported at 166 Circle Oak Drive in Boone.

Oct. 24

INCIDENT: Larceny and damage to property were reported at 138 Mountain Club Drive B3 in Vilas.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 1240 Raven Rock Road in Boone.

ARREST: A male suspect, 27, of 790 Dewitt Barnett Road in Banner Elk, was charged with possession of marijuana up to ½ oz. and possession of marijuana paraphernalia and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

Oct. 25

INCIDENT: Drug violations were reported on N.C. Highway 105 South in Boone.

INCIDENT: Drug violations were reported at 3265 Poplar Grove Road South in Boone.

Oct. 26

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 1782 Shulls Mill Road in Boone.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 140 Queen St. in Boone.

ARREST: A female suspect, 43, of 333 Will Perry Road in Vilas, was charged with larceny, DWLR not impaired rev and worthless check. She was held under a $1,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.

Oct. 19

INCIDENT: Vandalism was reported at 862 Blowing Rock Road.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at Everett Nissan, 135 Innovation Drive.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 1864 Old U.S. Highway 421 S.

Oct. 20

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 516 W. King St.

INCIDENT: Simple physical assault was reported at 454 W. King St.

ARREST: A male suspect, 30, of 167 Zeb St. in Boone, was charged with second degree trespassing and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.

ARREST: A male suspect, 20, of the Cottages on Parkwood Circle, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense and larceny. He was held under an $11,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.

Oct. 21

INCIDENT: Fraud – worthless checks were reported at 2969 N.C. Highway 105.

ARREST: A male suspect, 23, of 676 Don Hayes Road, was charged with larceny. He was held under a $500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

ARREST: A male suspect, 47, of 345 Watauga Drive, was charged with contempt of court/perjury/court violations. He was held under a $2,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.

Oct. 22

INCIDENT: Assault and battery and assault on a female were reported at the Super 8 Motel, 2419 N.C. Highway 105, room 407.

ARREST: A male suspect, 23, of 322 Clawson St., was charged with drug violations – equipment/paraphernalia – possessing/concealing and PWIMSD a schedule II controlled substance. He was held under a $10,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.

ARREST: A female suspect, 18, of 126 Parkwood Circle, was charged with simple assault and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

ARREST: A male suspect, 21, of 125 Parkwood Circle, was charged with assault on a female and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

ARREST: A female suspect, 42, of 1796 Old N.C. Highway 16 in Jefferson, was charged with assault and battery and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.

ARREST: A male suspect, 43, of 324 Thomas St. in North Wilkesboro, was charged with failure to pay monies and two counts of assault on a female and he is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.

Oct. 23

INCIDENT: Assault was reported at 287 Deerfield Road

ARREST: A female suspect, 21, of 506 6th Ave. NE in Conover, was charged with DWI and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.

ARREST: A male suspect, 18, of 4121 Mount Ainbrook in Apex, was charged with speeding, driving after consuming – provisional and DWI and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.

ARREST: A female suspect, 18, of 716 Archer Road, was charged with larceny and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

Oct. 24

INCIDENT: Aid and abet concealment of goods and concealment of goods were reported at Night Secrets, 1126 Blowing Rock Road.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 1778 Blowing Rock Road.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 145 Arbor Lane.

INCIDENT: Obtaining money by false pretense was reported at Wal-Mart, 200 Watauga Village Drive.

ARREST: A female suspect, 40, of 9476 Wilson Road in Hildebran, was charged with second degree trespassing. She was held under a $2,500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

ARREST: A male suspect, 24, of 622 N. Oak Grove Ext. in Millers Creek, was charged with intoxicated and disruptive. He was held under a $1,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

ARREST: A male suspect, 20, of 2814 Creekbed Lane in Charlotte, was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia, driving after consuming under the age of 21 – provisional and DWI and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

ARREST: A male suspect, 22, of 142 Swamp Box Road, was charged with aiding and abetting concealment of merchandise and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.

ARREST: A female suspect, 19, of 142 Swamp Box Road, was charged with concealment of merchandise and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.

ARREST: A female suspect, 36, of 120 Campground Road in Vilas, was charged with obtaining money by false pretense. She was held under a $10,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

ARREST: A male suspect, 52, of 7807 N.C. Highway 194 S. in Todd, was charged with speeding and DWI and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

Oct. 25

INCIDENT: Possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance were reported at 100 High School Drive.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 489 W. King St.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 2702 N.C. Highway 105.

ARREST: A male suspect, 20, of 6211 Moores Creek Drive in Summerfield, was charged with simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and consuming alcohol by 19/20. He was held under a $750 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.

ARREST: A male suspect, 20, of 1206 Mosley Road in Greensboro, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding. He was held under a $3,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.
