Oct. 10
INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 2774 Rich Mountain Road in Zionville.
Oct. 13
INCIDENT: Vandalism was reported at the entrance of Summit at Lost Ridge in Vilas.
INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 328 Clay Hodges Road in Boone.
INCIDENT: Drug violations were reported at 100 Hardin Road in Boone.
INCIDENT: Fraud – impersonation was reported at 111 Mystery Hill Lane Unit 1 in Blowing Rock.
INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 840 Ed Williams Road in Zionville.
ARREST: A female suspect, 47, of 3021 Dill Mill Road in Hudson, was charged with felony att. to obtain CS forgery/fraud and att. trafficking opiates by possession. She was held under a $5,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 20.
Oct. 14
INCIDENT: Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at 280 Cross Ridge Farm Road in Vilas.
INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 5102 Howards Creek Road in Boone.
INCIDENT: Drug violations were reported at 535 Aldridge Road in Banner Elk.
INCIDENT: Motor vehicle theft was reported at 1251 Brookshire Road in Boone.
Oct. 15
INCIDENT: Vandalism was reported at 1141 Winklers Creek Road in Boone.
INCIDENT: Possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana were reported at 129 Lazy Lake Road Unit 2 in Boone.
ARREST: A male suspect, 46, of 191 Cecil Miller Road in Boone, was charged with felony sex offender/fail to register and sex offender/residing within 1,000 ft. of a school. He was held under a $25,000 secured bond.
Oct. 16
INCIDENT: Assault on a female was reported at 1336 Ravens Ridge Circle in Boone.
INCIDENT: Larceny and trespassing were reported at 369 Rivers Edge Drive in Boone.
INCIDENT: Fraud was reported at 176 U.S. Highway 221 N. in Deep Gap.
INCIDENT: Breaking and entering was reported at 4017 Howards Creek Road in Boone.
ARREST: A male suspect, 59, of 1336 Ravens Ridge Circle in Boone, was charged with assault on a female and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.
ARREST: A male suspect, 32, of 592 Idlewild Mountain Estates in West Jefferson, was charged with felony sex offense against a child. He was held under a $1,000,000 secured bond.
Oct. 17
INCIDENT: Vandalism and larceny were reported at 989 Beaver Dam Farm Road in Vilas.
INCIDENT: Burglary – forcible entry and larceny were reported at 5699 Junaluska Road in Boone.
ARREST: A male suspect, 26, of 2999 Rhonswood Drive in Tobaccoville, was charged with felony fugitive of another state. He was held under a $10,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.
Oct. 18
INCIDENT: Breaking and entering, larceny and vandalism were reported at 372 Browns Chapel Crest in Boone.
INCIDENT: Breaking and entering, larceny and vandalism were reported at 322 Browns Chapel Crest in Boone.
ARREST: A female suspect, 28, of 9842 South Maryland Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, was charged with parole and probation violations. She was held under a $5,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 2.
Oct. 19
INCIDENT: Felony breaking and entering, larceny and communicating threats were reported at 526 Jones Drive in Boone.
INCIDENT: Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at 120 Bluebonnet Drive in Boone.
INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 521 Dogwood Knoll Unit 1 in Boone.
INCIDENT: An unattended death was reported at 1291 Howard Edmisten Road in Sugar Grove.
ARREST: A male suspect, 31, of 128 Kerley Drive in Boone, was charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and larceny of a firearm. He was held under a $10,000 secured bond.
ARREST: A male suspect, 31, of 476 Hardaman Circle in Boone, was charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and larceny of a firearm. He was held under a $10,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 338 Brook Hollow Road.
INCIDENT: Motor vehicle theft was reported at 2748 N.C. Highway 105.
INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 455 Blowing Rock Road.
INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 200 Watauga Village Drive.
Oct. 13
INCIDENT: Damage to property was reported on Queen Street.
Oct. 14
ARREST: A suspect, 45, of 181 Winter Drive, was charged with simple assault and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.
ARREST: A suspect, 30, was charged with violation of unsupervised probation, was held under a $915 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 28.
ARREST: A male suspect, 25, of 129 Zeb St., was charged with larceny. He was held under a $500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.
Oct. 15
INCIDENT: Larceny, larceny/defeat anti-theft device, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of stolen goods and resist/delay/obstruct were reported at Wal-Mart, 200 Watauga Village Drive.
INCIDENT: Calls for service/possible fraud were reported at 350 Watauga Village Drive.
INCIDENT: Weapons violation/weapons on school grounds were reported at Watauga High School.
INCIDENT: Communicating threats was reported at Leola Street and Watauga Village Drive.
INCIDENT: A missing person was reported at Makoto’s, 2124 Blowing Rock Road.
ARREST: A male suspect, 36, of 162 Whispering Pines Lane in Jefferson, was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia – possessing/concealing, larceny, resisting a public officer, possession of stolen goods and larceny/defeat anti-theft device. He was held under a $10,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.
ARREST: A female suspect, 21, of 290 Summer Drive, was charged with DWI and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.
ARREST: A male suspect, of 225 Patton Ave. in Asheville, was charged with probation violation. He was held under a $1,000 secure dbond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.
Oct. 16
INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 1470 Blowing Rock Road.
INCIDENT: Vandalism was reported at Horn in the West.
INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at Lovill House Inn, 404 Old Bristol Road.
INCIDENT: Cyberstalking was reported at 168 Graduate Lane Apt. 114
ARREST: A female suspect, 39, of 2894 Old U.S. Highway 421 S., was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon, rear lamp violation and DWLR. She was held under a $1,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.
Oct. 17
INCIDENT: Larceny, fraud, shoplifting and trespassing were reported at Walmart.
ARREST: A female suspect, 20, of 155 Campus Ridge Drive Apt. 7, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense. She was held under a $10,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.
ARREST: A male suspect, 49, of 170 Winter Drive, was charged with DWI and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.
ARREST: A female suspect, 39, of 6107 U.S. Highway 321 N. in Sugar Grove, was charged with trespassing, larceny – shoplifting and fraud – obtaining money/property by false pretense. She was held under a $10,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 23.
Oct. 18
INCIDENT: An unattended death was reported at 1340 W. King St. Apt. 204.
INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 187 New Market Centre.
INCIDENT: Fraud was reported at Walmart.
INCIDENT: Vandalism and simple physical assault were reported at 247 Eli Hartley Drive Apt. 207.
