Weekly Crime Reports: Incidents, Activity and Arrests in the Town of Boone, Feb. 1 – 7

The following information is provided by local law enforcement agencies.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The following were provided by the Boone Police Department.

Feb. 1

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at McDonald’s, 896 Blowing Rock Road.

INCIDENT: Tampering with mail was reported at Go Postal, 207 New Market Centre.

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 1469 W. King St., Apt. 403.

INCIDENT: Fraud – confidence games/larceny by trickery was reported at 206 Ivy Terrace Drive.

ARREST: Order for arrest was issued for a male suspect, 22, of 231 Highland Ave. in Boone. He was held under a $5,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.

ARREST: A male suspect, 19, of 2013 Middleham Drive in Kernersville, was charged with driving while license revoked. He was held under a $200 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 7.

ARREST: An order for arrest was issued for a male suspect, 31, of 233 Pedro Shoun Lane in Mountain City. He was held under a $1,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.

Feb. 2

INCIDENT: Larceny – shoplifting was reported at Lowe’s Hardware, 1855 Blowing Rock Road.

Feb. 3

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at 1256 Blowing Rock Road, Speedway Store #7923.

ARREST: A male suspect, 30, of 102 Simpson St. Unit A in Greeneville, was charged with third degree sexual exploitation of a minor and second degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was held under a $75,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.

ARREST: A female suspect, 19, of 219 Meadow Hill Drive in Boone, was charged with violation of court order. She was held under a $500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear n court on March 3.

ARREST: A female suspect, 18, of 338 Brook Hollow Road in Boone, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct. She was held under a $500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.

Feb. 4

INCIDENT: Larceny was reported at Lowe’s Foods, 267 New Market Centre.

INCIDENT: Possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia were reported at Watauga High School, 300 Go Pioneers Drive.

INCIDENT: Larceny – gas drive-off was reported at 2702 N.C. Highway 105, Speedway Store #7921.

INCIDENT: Calls for service were reported at 206 Adams Lane.

INCIDENT: Criminal damage to property was reported on West King Street.

INCIDENT: Breaking or entering was reported at Boone Paint, 1852 N.C. Highway 105.

ARREST: A male suspect, 16, of 1211 Hopewell Church Road in Boone, was charged with simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. He was held under a $500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.

ARREST: A female suspect, 23, of 155 Rocky Road Ext. in Boone, was charged with failure to reduce speed. She was held under a $100 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 11.

ARREST: A female suspect, 28, of 2799 Cheraw Road in Lenoir, was charged with trespassing, larceny – shoplifting and larceny. She was held under a $3,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.

ARREST: A male suspect, 21, of 1421 Brownwood Road in Deep Gap, was charged with failure to reduce speed, DWI and open container. He was held under a $750 secured bond and is schedule to appear in court on March 3.

ARREST: A male suspect, 18, of 1852 N.C. Highway 105 in Boone, was charged with breaking or entering. He was held under a $500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.

Feb. 5

INCIDENT: Larceny – from motor vehicle was reported at 196 Sunnyside Drive.

INCIDENT: Vandalism was reported at 240 Shadowline Drive.

INCIDENT: Burglary – forcible entry was reported at Home Grown Glass, 1384 N.C. Highway 105.

ARREST: A male suspect, 24, of 104 Carlin St. in Boone, was charged with order for arrest – larceny. He was held under an $815 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 25.

Feb. 6

INCIDENT: Harassing phone calls were reported at 139 S Depot St.

Feb. 7

INCIDENT: Larceny and motor vehicle theft were reported at 454 Oak Street..

INCIDENT: Resisting arrest and communicating threats were reported at 115 Winter Drive.

ARREST: A male suspect, 50, of 211 SPI Drive in Deep Gap, was charged with all traffic (except DWI), DWLR and DWI – alcohol and/or drugs. He was held under a $1,500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 8.

ARREST: A male suspect, 51, of 106 Joe Dugger Lane in Butler, was charged with resisting a public officer. He was held under a $300 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.
