Weekly Concerts Continue at Tate Evans Park in Banner Elk with Wolf Creek on Thursday

The Banner Elk Chamber of Commerce concert series brings back Wolf Creek to the stage.  This Thursday, enjoy bluegrass, classic country, blues and rock and roll performed in Tate Evans Park. Also, enjoy locally crafted beverages! Flat Top Brewing Company and Banner Elk Winery will be selling beer and wine at the concert. Wolf Creek’s show is sponsored by Banner Elk Subway.

Wolf Creek is a 5 piece band from eastern Tennessee. Banner Elk is excited to have them on the schedule this year, for fans of Wolf Creek this is one of their few 2015 performances. Wolf Creek members have their roots in western North Carolina and east Tennessee, and they blend acoustic and electric to make a unique sound that Banner Elk concert goers have enjoyed for several years in a row.

The concert is sponsored by Banner Elk Subway. Banner Elk Subway is located in the Sugar Mountain Village Shopping Center. They make subs fresh to order, catering platters, and they welcome large groups to stop in for a meal.

Locally crafted beer and wine will be for sale at the concert. Concert goers can try beer from Flat Top Brewing Company and wine from the Banner Elk Winery. Both members of the Banner Elk Chamber of Commerce will be set up to vend beverages at the concert in the park. Food vendors will also be set up in the park.

The concerts start at 6:30 pm, rain or shine! For more information visit www.bannerelk.org or call 828-898-8395.

Many concertgoers participated in a picnic table-scaping contest during last week’s event.
