WCSO Arrests Two Mountain City Individuals for Meth: 52 Grams Valued at $10K

On Oct. 21, 2016, Narcotics Detectives from the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office conducted an undercover operation seizing 52 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine. Over the course of the investigation, Detectives seized a total of 82 grams of methamphetamine, which had an estimated street value of $9,840, and arrested two individuals.

Tracy Daniel Roark, 38, of 221 Mining Town Road, Mountain City, TN 37683 was charged with 2 counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Traffic in Methamphetamine.

Kimberly Renee Bowers, 41, of 111 Holy View Lane, Mountain City, TN 37683 was charged with 2 counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Traffic in Methamphetamine.

Roark and Bowers were arrested and transported to the Watauga County Detention Facility in lieu of a $60,000 secured bond. They are scheduled to appear in District Court on November 10, 2016.
