April 14, 2014. This year, more than 60 students worked more than 260 collective hours on March 29 during this year’s Empty Bowls supper at Watauga High School. Many hours before and after the event were worked and even many more still as the wrap-up is still going on.
Pictured are student volunteers presenting the check to the Hunger and Health Coalition with this year’s amount raised, $10,400. This number is an all-time record for the 13 consecutive Watauga High School Empty Bowls Suppers.
