Watauga County Crimestoppers Requesting Public’s Help Identifying Suspect Involved in Kmart Fraud

Sept. 6, 2012. Watauga County Crimestoppers requests your help in identifying the person(s) responsible for the following crime(s):

  

A report was filed with the Boone Police Department on Aug. 17, 2012, by Kmart in reference to a fraud that occurred in their store. The suspect presented the cashier with large bills and asked the cashier to make change. The suspect talked to the cashier about playing poker and was able to manipulate the currency and left the store with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a black male is his mid- to late-40s. The suspect was well dressed and was captured on the stores video surveillance.
