Exploring the arts for yourself has never been easier! The Watauga County Arts Council has on ongoing list of learning opportunities available to anyone who would like to try out an art form or increase their skills.
Here are the opportunities coming up in April:
Thursday, April 14th from 5:30-7:30 pm – Arty Party: Melting Snow with Raney Rogers – $35
Saturday, April 16th from 10:30-12:30 – Make Your Own Palette Planter with Kathy Cook – $35
Tuesday, April 19th from 5:30-7:30 – Knit ONE, Purl TWO with Arden Schumann – $30 for two sessions
Thursday, April 21st at 4pm – Children’s Drawing Lessons with Katherine Marx – $78 for six 60 minute lessons or $90 for six 60 minute lessons plus an additional 30 minutes of guided free drawing.
Thursday, April 21st at 5:30 pm – The Finishing Touch: Creating a Silk Velvet Scarf with Kathleen Deyo – $25
Tuesday, April 26th from 2-4:30 pm OR 6-8:30 pm – Introduction to East Asian Brush Painting with Dawn Wicklow – $180 for six sessions
Wednesday, April 27th from 6-8 pm – Arty Party: Origami with Dawn Wicklow – $40
Thursday, April 28th from 5:30-7:30pm – Arty Party: Cherry Tree with Raney Rogers – $35
