HarmonJohn Harmon was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Marine Corps where he also was involved with the 2nd inauguration of President Dwight D Eisenhower.

Following his service to our country he worked in the supermarket industry for over 40 years where he was Director of Construction for A&P grocery stores and then a salesman for refrigerated equipment for grocery stores.

John is survived by his wife, Bonita Harmon; son, John Harmon (wife, Sandy Harmon); stepson, Michael Milliken; grandson, John W Harmon; 5 granddaughters, Sarah Lankford (husband, Tyler Lankford), Megan Lankford, Sammi Harmon, Karen Jansen, & Stephannie Harmon; 2 great-grandchildren, LillyBelle Lankford & Gabriel Lankford.Services for Mr. Harmon will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 18th at Daniels Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darrell Curls officiating. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.

Imogene “Granny” Meredith Owens (July 8, 1912 – June 13, 2016)

Imogene “Granny” Meredith Owens, age 103, of Newland went to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 13, 2016 at her residence.

Imogene attended First Baptist Church Newland and enjoyed gardening in her flowers.

Thee last of 12 children born to Jim and Victoria Taylor Meredith she was also preceded in death by her: daughters, Glenda Isaacs, Doris McGuire; sons, Jake Owens, Bob Owens; grandson, Andy McGuire.

Imogene has left to cherish her memory her: sons, Clifford Owens and wife Dot of Roanoke, VA., Butch Owens and wife Susie of Bakersville, NC.; 14 grandchildren including Mary Beth Shell and husband Sandy of Newland; several great grandchildren including Jodie McGuire and husband Clayton Banner.

Funeral services for Imogene Meredith Owens will be conducted on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 8:00 pm in the Grandfather Chapel or Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Carver, Jr. and Dr. Bill Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. Interment will be Friday, June 17, 2016 in the Johnson Cemetery.

Jennings Bryan Robinson (May 11, 1922 – June 13, 2016)

Jennings Bryan Robinson of Boone passed away on June 13, 2016, at the age of 94.

He was born in rural Mitchell County on May 11, 1922, the fifth of eight children born to Grace Hughes Robinson and William Jennings Bryan Robinson. In 1938, after graduating from high school in Bakersville, NC, he entered Berea College at the age of sixteen, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture in 1942. Three months after graduation, he entered into active duty in the Army, serving in General Simpsons 9th Army, 44th Cavalry Group. While on leave in November of the following year, he married Florence Edna Seay of Asheville, NC. He served in the European theater of World War II until peace was declared in 1945.

BigRobinson photoAfter the war, J. B. taught agriculture in Barnardsville, NC, until 1950, when he moved his family to Boone, N.C., to begin his life-long career as a loan agent with the U. S. Department of Agriculture, Farmers Home Administration. After retirement in 1985, he devoted his time to gardening, traveling, photography, and reading. He took special pleasure in supporting the activities of Boone United Methodist Church, in particular the Covenant Class and the annual Fall Bazaar.

He is survived by his two children, Russel Lee Robinson (Irina) of Amarillo, Texas, Jenny Robinson Puckett (Jody) of Winston-Salem, NC, two grandsons, Christopher Hughes Robinson of Savannah, Georgia, Joe Lee Puckett, IV of Winston-Salem, N.C., and a great-granddaughter, Alana Elizabeth Kyles of Richmond, VA.

A memorial service will be held at Boone Methodist Church, 471 New Market Blvd., on Saturday, June 18 at 2:00 PM.

Elbert Lee Bryan (October 1, 1927

Mr. Elbert Lee Bryan, age 88, of Hickory, formerly of Boone passed away Monday June 13, 2016 at the Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation in Granite Falls.

BryanMr. Bryan was born October 1, 1927 in Watauga County, a son of the late Andrew Jackson Bryan and L. Blanche Winebarger Bryan. He was a retired timber cutter and logger. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Bryan is survived by two sisters, Mary B. Jessee, and Martha Ruth Nygaard and husband Erik, all of Hickory; four brothers Glenn Bryan and wife Margaret, and Paul Bryan and wife Betty all of Hudson, John Bryan of Juliaetta, Idaho, and Raymond Bryan and wife Peggy of Lenoir.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Andrew Jackson Bryan and L. Blanche Winebarger Bryan, and four brothers James Earl, Elmer William, Boyd Henry and Andrew Holand Bryan.

Funeral services for Mr. Elbert Lee Bryan will be conducted Friday afternoon June 17, 2016 at 3:00 o’clock at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. The body will lie in state, at the chapel, from 2:00 until 3:00. Officiating will be Reverend Gordon Noble. Military rites and burial, provided by the United States Army, American Legion Post 130 and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 90, will follow in the Proffit’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, from 2:00 until 3:00 o’clock, at Hampton Funeral Service, one hour prior to the service.

BigGreene Fred - 3Mr. Fred Robert Greene, age 101, of Fred Greene Drive, Vilas, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 12, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Born March 20, 1915 in Watauga County, he was a son of the late Brazillar and Rosa Isaacs Greene. Mr. Greene was Veteran of WWII having served with the US Army. He was a member of Cove Creek Baptist Church and was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Anna Perry Greene, two daughters, Patricia Pardue and husband R.C. of Zionville, and Donna Hayes and husband Jimmy of Boone, one grandson, Todd Hayes and wife Victoria of Boone. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Pearl Greene Greer, and three brothers, Ivy, Estel, and Ralph Greene.

Graveside services for Mr. Fred Robert Greene will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the Cove Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Shelby Stevens. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 130 and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 90.

Ivery Clenard Greene (Jan. 6, 1931 – June 10, 2016)

Ivery Clenard (Junior) Greene, 85, of Flowers Branch Road, Deep Gap, passed away Friday afternoon, June 10, 2016 at his home.

BigGreene, JuniorBorn January 6, 1931 in Watauga County, he was a son of Ivery Clenard Greene, Sr. and Clemmie Cook Greene. Junior was a 54 year active member of Highland View Baptist Church, serving as a Deacon, Superintendent and Sunday School Teacher. A man of great faith, Mr. Greene loved his Lord, his Church, and his family. His life passions were his family, good food, fishing, and hot rods, particularly Ford Mustangs. He worked in the furniture industry, as a driver for Colvard Oil, and was an ace mechanic.

Mr. Greene is survived by his wife of 66 years, Inez Waters Greene; daughters, Debra Church and husband, Doyle, and Joan Denise Golds and husband, Hubert, all of Deep Gap; sons, Jeffrey Steven Greene and wife, Illa Jean of Deep Gap, Tim Greene and wife, Karen, of Vilas, Mark Daniel Greene and wife, Donna, of Todd, and Shannon Davant Greene and wife, Susan, of Deep Gap; fourteen grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; sister, Alvarea Bare of Jefferson; and brother, Clarence V. Greene and wife, Mozelle, of Deep Gap.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Alvalea McNeill and Faye Harless; and brothers, Rev. John R. Greene and I. M. Greene.

Funeral services for Junior Greene will be conducted Monday afternoon, June 13, 2016 at 4 o’clock, at Highland View Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Shane Golds and Rev. Herbert Parunak. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 2 until 4 o’clock, prior to services, at the church. Graveside services will follow in the Highland View Baptist Church Cemetery.

Virginia Norris Lewis (June 21, 1922 – June 9, 2016)

Virginia (Jenny) Norris Lewis, 93, of Boone, NC passed away June 9, 2016 at Hospice Home in High Point, NC. Born June 21, 1922 in Watauga County, she was the daughter of Granville Newton and Mettie Mae Brown Norris. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Boone and was employed at Appalachian State University for 32 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ernest Ernie Lewis; three sisters, Grace Norris, Allie Murry and Lucille McCurry and brothers, Finley Norris and Jack Norris.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by two daughters, Janice Lewis Conn of Hickory and Kim Lewis and husband, Scott, of High Point; three sisters, Iva Dean Day of Boone, Betty Clinard of Millers Creek, Shirley Fisher of Rock Hill, SC; brother, Bobby Norris of Henderson, TX; four grandchildren, Robin Conn Blackmon and husband, Derrick, of Durham, Jennifer Conn of Conover, Ashley Bridges of Rock Hill, SC and Justin Lewis of High Point; six great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Sara Norris, of Walnut Cove and brother-in-law, Ed McCurry of Greensboro.

The funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon, June 12, 2016 at 3 oclock at the Austin and Barnes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bud Russell officiating and speakers, family friend, Henry Steele and niece, Dawn Battiste. Burial will take place at Mount Lawn Cemetery in Boone. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 until 3 oclock, prior to services, at Austin & Barnes.

The family would like to say a very sincere thank you to the amazing Hospice staff for their support during the past year and a half and the Westchester Manor Staff for their care and support during this time. In addition, we would also like to thank our special friends for their loving support.

A native of Avery County, he was born April 9, 1936 a son of the late Myron and Victoria Townsend Clark.

He was a carpenter and enjoyed hunting and being in the outdoors. Arthur enjoyed listening to bluegrass music.

Along with his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his: wife, Hazel Smith Clark and a son, Douglas Myron Clark; two infant children, sisters, Oma Lee Yates, Daisy Snipes; and brothers, Ira Luther Clark and Curtiss Clark.

Arthur has left to cherish his memory his: daughter, Vicki Church, and husband, Jerry Letterman, of Bakersville; sons, Arthur Wade “Box” Clark of Newland, Jeffrey Neil Clark of Roan Mountain, TN, Eric Joseph Clark, and wife Karen, of Newland, Edward Jerome Clark, and wife Brooke, of Newton-Conover; sisters, Cora Lee Cook, Dorothy Bare; daughter in law, Kim Fields Clark; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Arthur Coleman Clark will be conducted on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Grandfather Chapel of Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home with the Rev. Lonnie Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Newland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nell Tester Vines (April 11, 1932 – June 7, 2016)

Nell Tester Vines, 84, of US Highway 421 North, Vilas, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at her home. Born April 11, 1932 in Watauga County, she was a daughter of William Bert and Naomi Brinkley Tester. Mrs. Vines was a member of Willowdale Baptist Church. Nell was a lady always devoted to her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was able to balance family life along with a 30 year career with the US Postal Service in Watauga County.

Mrs. Vines is survived by her husband, Jack Vines; six children, Kay Vines of Vilas, Connie Knight & husband Gary, of Fleetwood, Cathy Waters and husband Rusty, and Jackie Vines, all of Boone, Tim Vines and wife Pam, of Blowing Rock, and Brad Vines of Boone; grandchildren, Chad Fairchild and wife Paige, of Deep Gap, Carrie Church and husband Eric of Boone, Technical Sergeant Andy Waters, USAF, Nashville, TN, Alex Vines of Blowing Rock, and Kimberly Vines of Boone; great-grandchildren, Addie, Gracie and Bridger Fairchild, all of Deep Gap, Audrie Waters of Nashville, TN, and Molly and Wyatt Church, both of Boone; special niece, Stevie Icard; and special great nephew, Luca Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mabel Tester; and brothers, John, Bud, Clyde, Elmo, J.B., Earl and Herbert Tester.

Mr. Harmon was born March 1, 1943 in Gadsden, Alabama, a son of the late Dr. Raymond Harris Harmon and Cleata Jones Harmon. He was an optician at Northwest Opticians in Boone, and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Mr. Harmon is survived by one brother, Bob Harmon and wife Joann of Boone; one nephew, Brad Harmon of Boone; and two great-nephews, Christopher and Patrick Harmon of Marion, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Robert H. Harmon and Cleata Jones Harmon.

Graveside services for Charles Raymond Harmon will be conducted Thursday afternoon, June 9, 2016 at 3:00 o’clock at the Jont-Brown Cemetery in Boone. Officiating will be Mr. George Lewis. Military graveside rites and burial, provided by the United States Army, American Legion Post 130 and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 90, will follow.

Rosemary S. Glass (June 17, 1938 – June 7, 2016)

BigGlassRosemary Sands Glass, age 77, of Three Top Road, Todd, NC, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 7th.

Born June 17, 1938, in West Virginia, one of six children, to Jesse Lloyd and Rosamond Pearl Dougherty Sands, she was a spiritual and Godly woman, pursuing religious truth, and studying most of her time. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, singing, history, travel and geology. She began ballroom dancing in 1962 shared and taught many the love and artistry in her numerous years as instructor and owner of a dance studio.

She is survived by three daughters: Alice Glass Dent and husband Dennis of Pompano Beach, FL; Robin Glass Lane and husband Andrew of Todd; Sheryl Lynn Glass Stradley and husband William of Boone; Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; One sister, Iris Jean Watson of Williston, FL and by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Wade Glass, two sisters and two brothers.

June Clark, age 88, of Newland passed away on June 7, 2016 at his residence.

June was a member of Jonas Ridge Baptist Church and was very active in his community, always willing to lend a helping hand.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors.

Along with his parents, June was preceded in death by his: sisters, Pauline and Josephine.

He has left to cherish his memory his: wife of 57 years, Mable Brown Clark of the home; daughters, Rita Ann Clark and husband James Caudill of Yadkinville, NC., Sheila Bauer of Jonas Ridge, Tressa Clark and fiance Darrick Weatherholtz of Orlando, FL; sons, Jay Clark and wife Marolyn of Piedmont, SC., Larry Clark and wife Joy of Lincolnton, NC., Randall Clark and fiance Michelle of Jonas Ridge, Jeffery Clark and wife Jane of Jonas Ridge; sister, Nellie Leonhardt of Lincolnton, NC; 25 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; Fancy Clark “My Pup”.

Edmund Jones Farthing, Jr., age 96, of 1526 Bethel Road, Vilas, passed away Monday morning, June 6, 2016, at Watauga Medical Center.

FarthingMr. Farthing was born February 20, 1920 in Watauga County, a son of the late Reverend E.J. Farthing, Sr., and Lula Greene Farthing. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during World War II. He was a farmer, and was a deacon and the oldest living member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Mr. Farthing is survived by his wife of 73 years, Hazel Cable Farthing; one son, Len Farthing and wife Brenda of Vilas; two daughters, Debbie Farthing of Asheville, and Patti Hensley and husband Keith of Vilas; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Farthing of Easley, South Carolina; two grandsons, Joel Farthing and wife Nicole of Vilas, and David Lance Farthing of Easley, and two granddaughters, Amanda Huff and husband Todd of Deep Gap, and Cora Hensley of Vilas. He is also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Lance and Byron, his father and mother, Reverend E.J. Farthing, Sr. and Lula Greene Farthing, four sisters, Alpha Perry, Lennis Efstation, Kizzie Mae Martin and Jodie Dugger and one brother, Blaine Farthing.

Funeral services for Edmund Jones Farthing, Jr., will be conducted Friday afternoon, June 10, 2016 at 4:00 o’clock at Bethel Baptist Church. The body will lie in state, at the church, from 2:00 until 4:00 o’clock. Officiating will be Reverend Harold Bennett, Reverend Toby Oliver, and Reverend Ethan Greene. Military graveside rites and burial, provided by the United States Army, American Legion Post 130, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 90, will follow in the C.S. Farthing Cemetery at the Farthing homeplace.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 o’clock, prior to the service, at Bethel Baptist Church.

MoretzPearl was born October 1, 1932 in Watauga County, a daughter of the late Rufus S. Jones and Edna Nora Baker Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.

Pearl is survived by two sons, Wayne Moretz and wife Sherri of Colorado and Ronnie Moretz and wife JoAnn of Boone; three granddaughters, Pam Nederhoff and husband Dwayne of Raleigh, Kyaleah Moretz of Hickory, and Savannah Moretz Norris and husband Carl of Boone; three grandsons, Andrew Moretz and wife Joann of Banner Elk, Quannah Moretz and wife Abigail of Asheville and Cody Moretz of Boone; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; three brothers, J.B. Jones and wife Merle Jean, Gary Jones and wife Rita, and Dean Jones and wife Betty, all of Boone; and two sisters, Lena Corbin of Rapidan, Virginia and Mary Lee Gentry and husband Richard of Boone. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Augustine Moretz, her father and mother, Rufus S. Jones and Edna Nora Baker Jones, three brothers, Earl, Howard and Jimmy Jones, and four sisters, Mildred Walker, Ruby Shore, Otis Corbin and Bea Storie.

Funeral services for Pearl Jones Moretz will be conducted Friday afternoon, June 10, 2016 at 4:00 o’clock at Bethany Lutheran Church. The body will lie in state, at the church, from 3:00 until 4:00. Officiating will be Pastor Laura Weant and Pastor John Bollinger. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, from 3:00 until 4:00, one hour prior to the service, at Bethany Lutheran Church.

Elvera Alva Olsen Rigolo, age 85, of Kellersville Road, Banner Elk, passed away Friday morning, June 3, 2016 at Watauga Medical Center.

RigoloElvera was born July 3, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Charles Wilfred Olsen and Alva Claire McQueen Olsen. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Highland Christian Fellowship.

Mrs. Rigolo is survived by two sons, Ed Rigolo and wife Beverly of Banner Elk and Jim Rigolo and wife Flora of Wellington, Florida; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Emma Rigolo, both of Wellington, Florida; and one sister, Barbara Gillin and husband Dr. Richard Gillin of Chestertown, Maryland.

Funeral services for Elvera Alva Olsen Rigolo will be conducted Sunday afternoon, June 5, 2016, at 2:00 o’clock, at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. The body will lie in state, at the chapel, from 12:30 until 2:00 o’clock. Officiating will be Dr. Matthew McDill. Entombment and committal services will be conducted at Palm Beach Memorial Gardens in Lantana, Florida on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.

Charles Thomas “Tommy” Greer (May 8, 1938

Charles Thomas “Tommy” Greer, age 78, of 1617 Sutherland Road, Creston, passed away Wednesday evening, June 1, 2016, at his home.

Mr. Greer was born May 8, 1938 in Creston, North Carolina, a son of the late Frank William Greer and Docia Shelton Greer. He was retired from the sawmilling and paving construction industries. He was a member of Sutherland Baptist Church.

GreerTommy is survived by one daughter, Wanda Brown and husband Wayne of Creston; four sons, Larry “Sam” Greer, Carl Greer, Tim Greer and wife Jan, and Mark Greer and wife Wendy Greer, all of Creston; one brother, Howard Greer of Pennsylvania, and eight sisters, Lee Potter and Thelma Brown, both of Creston, Pauline McMahan of Pennsylvania, Shirley Burleson of Marion, Mary Nell Johnson of Mountain City, Tennessee, Nora Burleson of South Boston, Virginia, Dollie Cornett of Hickory, and Wanda Roark of Mountain City, Tennessee. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Frank and Docia Greer; his wife, Geneva Sue Greer; two daughters, Sherry Lee and Terry Lynn Greer; two sons, Mike and Keith Greer; one granddaughter, April Sue Brown; one grandson, Charlie Brown; one great-grandson, Peyton Greer; four brothers, Kenneth “Oss” Greer, Franklin “Dock” Greer, Raymond “Sweety” Greer, and Roby “Buddy” Greer, and one sister, Freddie Greer.

Funeral services for Charles Thomas “Tommy” Greer will be conducted Monday afternoon, June 6, 2016 at 4:00 o’clock at Sutherland Baptist Church. The body will lie in state, at the church, from 2:00 until 4:00. Officiating will be Reverend Allen Younce, Reverend James Henson and Reverend Tommy Stephens.

Burial will follow in the Sutherland Cemetery.

CoffeyMrs. Thelma Ann Coffey, age 81, of Blowing Rock, passed away Wednesday morning, June 1, 2016, at Blowing Rock Extended Care Facility.

Thelma is survived by two daughters, Melody Rich, and Kelly Catterton, both of Blowing Rock; one son, Thomas Gregory Catterton and wife Penelope of Sparta; one brother, James Norman Coffey and wife Mary of Lenoir, and one sister-in-law, Vera Coffey of Hickory.

She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Samuel Catterton; her father and mother, James Herman Coffey and Hildred Murial Coffey; one sister, Betty Jean Johnson, and one brother, Robert Coffey.

Funeral services for Thelma Ann Coffey will be conducted Sunday afternoon, June 5, 2016, at 3:00 o’clock, at Boone Fork Baptist Church. The body will lie in state, at the church, from 2:00 until 3:00 o’clock. Officiating will be Reverend Bill McGuire and Reverend Carl Osborne. Burial will follow in Boone Fork Community Cemetery.

Robert William Moniz (Dec. 9, 1950 – May 31, 2016)

BigMoniz, RobertRobert Madeiros Moniz, 65, of Oates Drive, Raleigh, and a former resident of Boone, passed away May 31, 2016 at his home. Robert was born December 9, 1950 in Paget, Bermuda. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. After graduating from Watauga High School, Robert served four years in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. He retired from the North Carolina Department of Human Resources Department in Raleigh.

Robert was an active bicyclist, enjoyed playing tennis, and was an avid fan of Bermuda soccer.

He is survived by his mother, Angie Greene of Boone; sister, Alice Anderson and husband, Tim, of Wilkesboro; and three brothers, Jessie Dodson and wife, Susan, of Pikesville, Ricky Greene and wife, Beverly, of Laurel Springs, and Bruce Greene of Marietta, GA. Nineteen nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Ransom’ Smokey’ Greene, and one nephew, Brandon Lee Greene.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday morning, June 16th, at 11 o’clock at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, officiated by Father Matthew Codd. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services, from 10 until 11 o’clock at St. Elizabeth.

Graveside services with military honors provided by the US Navy, the American Legion Post #130, and the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 90 will follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Park & Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Father Francis Connolly Endowment Fund, in care of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 259 Pilgrims Way, Boone, NC 28607.
