Make Your Reservation for the Final Weekend of Tweetsie’s Ghost Train Halloween Festival

All aboard! Only a few nights remain this season for you to enjoy the Ghost Train Halloween Festival at Tweetsie Railroad, so make plans now if you don’t want to miss out. A few things are new this year, so be sure you’re prepared!

Cool temperatures, dark skies, bright lights and plenty of spooky excitement — it’s the perfect recipe for Halloween fun, and that’s exactly what you’ll find when you visit the Ghost Train.

All of the park’s popular attractions are back, like the Haunted House, the live performance Halloween Shows on Main Street, the 3-D Maze, the Black Hole, Trick=or-Treating, the Freaky Forest, the Warp Tunnel, the Tweetsie Palace Spooktacular Black Light Show and, of course, the Ghost Train!

There’s something for festival goers of all ages, although some attractions — like the Haunted House, the Freaky Forest and the Ghost Train ride — may not be suitable for children under 8.

If you’ve ever been to the Ghost Train before, then you know it’s a popular event. With large crowds filling the park every night, most folks who visit annually have learned that it’s important to get there early if you want to avoid long lines getting into the park and to ride the train. This year, though, Tweetsie’s doing something a little bit different.

This season, a limited number of guests are admitted nightly, which means you’re required to purchase tickets in advance if you plan to go. Also new this year, you’ll purchase a ticket for a specific night and a specific scheduled train ride time. Be sure to pay attention to your train ride reservation, because there may not be space available on later trains.

Two weekends of fun remain at the Ghost Train Halloween Festival — Friday and Saturday nights, Oct. 21-22 and Oct. 28-29.

Tickets are $36 per person for adults and children, although kids 2 and under are admitted for free, and your ticket gets you into all of the nighttime festivities.

To get your tickets and make your train ride reservation, call 1-877-TWEETSIE or go online to tweetsie.com.

Cooler temperatures areĀ on the way, so make sure you bundle up and dress appropriately for the weather. See you at the park!
