Feb. 18, 2014. If you enjoy working with the public, are looking for a rewarding work experience and live in or around Blowing Rock, then this opportunity is for you! Tweetsie Railroad will host its 2014 Job Fair on Saturday, March 1 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Tweetsie Palace Saloon. All candidates who are interested in seasonal employment for Tweetsie’s 2014 season, including special events positions, should plan on attending.
Each operating season, Tweetsie hires more than 200 employees to help run the park and entertain guests. The 2014 season begins April 11 and runs through Nov. 2 and will mark Tweetsie’s 58th season of welcoming guests to North Carolina’s first theme park.
Associates are needed in all areas of park operations including ticket sales, accounting, entertainment, ride operations, food service, retail sales, security, grounds maintenance, first aid, the Deer Park and more. The Job Fair will give candidates the opportunity to meet with Tweetsie’s management team, ask questions and express their desire to be a part of the Tweetsie Railroad experience.
Benefits of employment at the park include competitive wages, an enjoyable work environment, complimentary tickets to Tweetsie and passes to other area theme parks and attractions, as well as valuable job skills for any career you may choose.
Anyone attending the Job Fair should enter through Tweetsie’s side gate and bring a completed application.
