Travelers Have Spoken: Wahoo’s Adventures Makes TripAdvisor Hall of Fame

Wahoo’s Adventures, the High Country’s original Whitewater Outfitter, has garnered another industry accolade.  After earning a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2016, TripAdvisor simultaneously bestowed Hall of Fame status upon Wahoo’s for earning its fifth consecutive Certificate of Excellence.

Wahoo’s, founded in 1979, obtained its first customer review on TripAdvisor in 2004.  TripAdvisor, which covers about has 6.5 million hospitality businesses from hidden attractions to world-class museums, annually celebrates the best with Certificates of Excellence.  Since TripAdvisor measures quality, quantity and recency of customer reviews, only about 8,000 U.S. businesses have gotten the Hall of Fame nod.

“We’re honored to be named to TripAdvisor’s Hall of Fame,” said owner Jeff Stanley.  “We’ve provided thousands and thousands of adventures to our guests over the years, and I’ve always tried to set the bar for our industry.”

Stanley explained that Wahoo’s has previously won prestigious awards from national industry associations such as the Professional Paddlesports Association, but that in the age of the internet, the TripAdvisor award is huge, a real milestone.

“There is no greater seal of approval than being recognized by our guests,” said Stanley.

No High Country vacation is complete without an adventure down one of the area’s spectacular rivers.  Anyone interested in being part of the Wahoo’s experience should call 800-444-7238(RAFT) or book their adventure online at WahoosAdventures.com.
