Eight students from across Watauga County Schools will participate in the school district’s annual spelling bee on Friday, Oct. 9, at the Watauga County Board of Education at 9 a.m. See who all is competing above.
These students won their individual school’s spelling bee and our looking to compete in the regional competition in Winston-Salem, which usually takes place in March, according to WCS spokesman Marshall Ashcraft.
Parents are invited to attend to the spelling bee.
