March 13, 2013. From the mile-high Blue Ridge Mountains, Todd Bush captured this magnificent shot of the recent comet known as PanSTARRS near a very tiny crescent Moon after sunset on Tuesday night.
Bush encourages patience when trying to capture this comet. He added that although PanSTARRS will be a little easier to see as it climbs higher in the sky in the week ahead, it is reportedly going to get dimmer.
“Take every chance at finding a good western sky and look above the horizon. It’s pretty much due left in western sky,” Bush said.
