They had an instant connection, writing their first song together, “I’ll Try Again With You”, the very first time they met. Both solo artists at the time, the two collaborated on Kennedy’s solo EP, where Ashton contributed as a co-writer, studio musician, and featured artist. It was during this time that the two recognized they had something special and decided to combine their careers to reach new heights in their music. A wide variety of shared musical influences have lead the duo to create their own unique take on country music. With the pair sharing lead and harmony vocal roles, Ashton’s tasteful lead guitar playing, and Kennedy’s captivating stage presence, the duo puts on a memorable live performance in both acoustic and full-band settings.
