Wednesday August 12

½ Off Beer and Wine Specials.

7pm-9pm Trivia Night: Beginning at 7pm, Lost Province will be hosting Trivia Night with Zak Norris. Compete on your own or on a team! The competition gets started at 7pm so come a little early for a pizza and a pint and get your seat!

Thursday August 13

$3.00 Thursday-$3.00 pints on all Lost Province brewed beers (except high gravity)

8pm-Closing Live Music: Matt Walsh. Matt Walsh is from Statesville, NC. He does around 200 shows a year with The Low Counts and under his own name. His sound is influenced by anyone from Link Wray to Robert Nighthawk to Black Sabbath. His music has a primary focus is original music and blending his roots with new ideas rather than replicating them. The result reflects many genres of music – early electric and hill country Blues, Rock, old Country, Rockabilly, Soul, Stoner and Garage Rock, Hip-Hop and Psychedelia.

Friday August 14

Freakin’ Firkin Friday at Five continues with a special keg of Single Hop Citra IPA.

8pm-Closing Live Music: The Klee and Mike Show. The Klee & Mike Show is an acoustic duo featuring Klee Liles on guitar and vocals and Michael Robertson on percussion and vocals. Having played together for over 20 years, Klee and Michael have a built a huge repertoire of pop/rock songs ranging from well-known to obscure, from both artists you know and love and performers you may not know quite as well.

8pm-Closing Live Music: Maureen Renihan and Friends. Maureen Renihan is a Boone based vocalist performing throughout the high country, piedmont and foothill regions of North Carolina. Influenced by great icons such as Billie Holiday, Judy Garland, and Ella Fitzgerald, Maureen sets a nostalgic tone with her soothing vocals and sincere delivery. With an ever expanding repertoire and theatrical background of over twenty years, Maureen possesses the creativity and versatility to delight audiences of all ages. Accompanied by some of the finest jazz musicians in the region, Maureen Renihan & Friends perform classic jazz standards, familiar show tunes, and jazz interpretations of popular music.

Lost Province Sunday: Residents of “The Lost Province” (Watauga, Ashe, Avery and Alleghany) receive 10% off food with verification of residency.

2) Watauga Women in Leadership Picnic on Aug. 23

Join the WWIL’s upcoming “Simply Southern” good ole fashioned pig-pickin’ and covered dish event from 2-5 p.m. on Aug. 23 at 409 Monte Verde Road in Deep Gap. Wear your favorite T-shirt and get ready to unwind with friends old and new as you enjoy dinner, wine from the Country Vintner and beer from Lost Province Brewing Co. for just $10 per person. 3) Benny Wilson Band on Friday in Newland

Check out the Benny Wilson Band on Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the Newland Riverwalk Bandshell and Park. Sponsored by the Newland Business Association, this concert will have you rockin’ and rollin’ with this group and their 70s classic rock tunes. Alternate rain location: rock gym at the Avery school.
