Three Players Win Prizes Between $100k and $200K Last Week as Mega Millions Jackpot Jumps To $90M Cash

Oct. 13, 2014. Three big instant scratch-off winners highlight a week that brought more than $21.2 million in prizes to lottery players across the state.

Instant scratch-off players in North Carolina won more than $16.8 million in prizes since Thursday, Oct. 2. During that time, players of draw games won more than $4.4 million in total prizes.

Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is an estimated $150 million if taken as an annuity or $90 million if taken as a lump sum. In the Oct. 3 Mega Millions drawing, 33,105 tickets won prizes ranging from $1 to $1,500, totaling $76,187. In Tuesday’s drawing, 32,343 tickets won $79,910 in prizes ranging from $1 to $5,000.

Saturday’s Powerball players have the chance to win a $80 million jackpot if taken as an annuity or $49.1 million if taken as a lump sum.Wednesday’s Powerball drawing produced 12,322 winning tickets ranging from $4 to $300, totaling $94,531. The Saturday, Oct. 4 Powerball drawing produced 11,750 winning tickets ranging from $4 to $200, totaling $75,693.

All or Nothing Report

Players in the All or Nothing game collected $338,832 in prizes this week, including 37 prizes of $500. The game’s top prize is $250,000 and drawings occur every day at approximately 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
