In/Visible Theatre presents Without Words
Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25 at 8pm
Valborg TheatreWithoutWordsGraphic

by Derek Davidson adapted from the book A Man Without Words by Susan Schaller

Language connects us. We use words to ask, express love, argue, and to take our place in human society. Without Words is the story of Idelfonso, a languageless deaf man and Susan, the sign language interpreter determined to help him learn. Experts say someone cannot learn a first language as an adult; Susan and Idelfonso proved the experts wrong. In/Visible Theatre uses dance, drama, sound and silence in this remarkable true story of how language is so much more than words.
