Theft at Two University Highlands Apartments Left Unlocked While Residents Slept Wednesday Night

Oct. 16, 2014. High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

On Wednesday, Oct. 15, Boone Police received reports that two separate apartments were broken into at University Highlands.

The items taken were Xbox One, Xbox Kinect, two controllers, 42” LG flat screen HD TV, custom made ASU pillow, several bottles of alcohol, Xbox game Destiny, Play Station 4, two Play Station controllers, 42” Emerson flat screen TV and the Play Station game Call of Duty Ghost. These crimes were committed between 2:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on October 15.

Both apartments were unsecured with residents asleep at the time of the crimes. Boone Police Department would like to remind everyone to be sure to lock your doors.
